Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, first conjectured to be a couple in reports last week, were photographed behaving romantically on a boat in the Bahamas.
E! News on Monday ran photographs by the image source The Mega Agency that appeared to show singer-actress-dancer Lopez, 47, and former Yankees slugger Rodriguez, 41, on a motorboat docked at Baker’s Bay Golf & Ocean Club in the Bahamian island chain The Abacos.
In one of the images the two sit side by side at the back of the small boat, his head resting against her. According to E!, the two had flown Friday night on a private jet from Miami — where the Bronx-born Lopez is recording a Spanish-language album — to the town of Marsh Harbour on Great Abaco Island. From there they traveled to the private, owners-only community on Great Guana Cay.
Both E! and People magazine reported last week that the “On the Floor” songstress and “Shades of Blue” TV star Lopez and Yankees third baseman Rodriguez, who retired in August, have been dating for a few weeks. Last month, Rodriguez attended Lopez’s “All I Have” residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
Neither Lopez’s nor Rodriguez’s representatives have commented on the reports.
In August, People and others reported that Lopez and boyfriend Beau “Casper” Smart, with whom she had an on-and-off relationship since 2011, had broken up several weeks prior.
Lopez and her ex-husband, Grammy Award-winning singer Marc Anthony, have two children, twins Max and Emme, who turned 9 last month. The two married in 2004, separated in 2011 and divorced three years later. Lopez was married twice previously, to waiter Ojani Noa in 1997 and to dancer Cris Judd in 2001.
Rodriguez has two daughters, Natasha, 12, and Ella, 8, with his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis. Last month, he ended a nearly yearlong relationship with Silicon Valley CEO Anne Wojcicki, People said, and he previously dated actresses Kate Hudson and Cameron Diaz.
