Jerry Seinfeld confirms one-time 'Seinfeld' reunion

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld Thursday confirmed that a one-time reunion of the "Seinfeld" cast is in the works.
During an interview on WFAN's "Boomer & Carton" radio show, Seinfeld, 59, confirmed that a Jan. 13 sighting of himself and Jason Alexander at Tom's Restaurant -- the real-life Manhattan diner used for the exterior of the show's Monk's Café -- was for "a secret project" involving the characters Jerry, George and unspecified others. Series co-creator Larry David "was involved" but neither on camera nor in voice-over.
Giving brief answers in a "What's My Line"-like 20-questions segment, Seinfeld said the "shortish-form" filmed project is a "one-and-done" endeavor longer than 60 seconds. It shot at "other locations" in addition to the diner.
He added that "it's neither" a Super Bowl commercial nor part of his Web series, "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee."
The cast of "Seinfeld," which also included Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Michael Richards, appeared together in a 2009 episode of David's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" about a "Seinfeld" reunion.
