Jesse Tyler Ferguson: I had cancer removed from my face

Five-time Emmy Award-nominee Jesse Tyler Ferguson says he has had a facial cancer removed.
“Thank you to Dr. Bennett & his entire team for taking the cancer out of my face,” Ferguson, 40, who plays Mitchell Pritchett on the ABC comedy “Modern Family,” wrote on Instagram, alongside an image of himself with gauze bandaging on the right side of his face.
“Good luck hiding the stitches tomorrow, ‘Modern Family’ makeup and hair” team, he added.
The Hollywood Reporter last year included a Dr. Richard G. Bennett of Santa Monica, California, in its first annual list of best dermatologists in Los Angeles.
