Kate Hudson seen without engagement ring

Actress Kate Hudson was seen without her engagement ring amid reports she and her fiance, Muse lead singer-guitarist Matthew Bellamy, have hit a stormy patch. People magazine said yesterday that despite still living together with their 2-year-old son, Bingham, their relationship has been unsteady for some time. The couple spent the holidays together in Bellamy's native UK, but since then Hudson, 34, has been seen without him in New York, at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, and at Bulgari's Decades of Glamour event Tuesday in Los Angeles, where she did not wear her 9-carat ring.
