Katie Holmes returns to Broadway in 'Dead Accounts'

Katie Holmes will be the star of somebody else's family troubles this fall. The estranged wife of Tom Cruise will return to Broadway in "Dead Accounts," a new Theresa Rebeck comedy about a sister's reaction to the unexpected homecoming of her brother.
Holmes made a respectable but unspectacular Broadway debut in the 2008 revival of Arthur Miller's "All My Sons," starring John Lithgow and Dianne Wiest.
In other Broadway news, "Scandalous: The Life and Trials of Aimee Semple McPherson" a musical about the 1920s American evangelist co-written by morning-TV host Kathie Lee Gifford, will open at the Neil Simon Theatre in the fall, the producers announced Thursday.
