Kelsey Grammer, fourth wife expecting

Following a tragic miscarriage in 2010, actor Kelsey Grammer and fourth wife Kayte WalshGrammer confirmed yesterday that they are expecting their first child, Grammer's fifth.

His representative told People magazine that Walsh Grammer, a former flight attendant, is in her second trimester.

Grammer, 56, has four children. Actress Spencer Grammer ("Greek," "As the World Turns"), 28, is his only child with his first wife, dance instructor Doreen Alderman. Grammer became a grandfather when she and her husband, James Hesketh, had son Emmett in October.

Following Grammer's divorce in 1990, he fathered a second daughter, Greer, in early 1992 with movie makeup artist Barrie Buckner. He has two children, Jude, 7, and Mason, 10, with his most recent ex-wife, "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Camille Grammer, a former Playboy model.

The former "Cheers" and "Frasier" star and Walsh Grammer, 32, married in Manhattan last February, with a lavish reception at the Plaza Hotel's Grand Ballroom, where the guests included Grammer's "Frasier" co-star, David Hyde Pierce, and actor Alan Arkin.

Grammer -- who has won four Emmy Awards for the latter show plus an additional Emmy for a voiceover performance on the animated series "The Simpsons" -- currently stars as a fictional mayor of Chicago in the Starz series "Boss." He also starred in two failed sitcoms, "Back to You" (Fox 2007-08) and "Hank" (ABC, 2009).
