Kim Kardashian: My baby is in breech position

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian on Tuesday revealed that although she is 36 weeks pregnant, her baby's head is still up in a breech position, which occurs in roughly 4 percent of births and often requires delivery via Caesarean section.

Writing on her subscription blog, People magazine reports, Kardashian, who is expecting a boy with husband Kanye West, said she has learned "that you actually can deliver a breech baby . . . as opposed to just jumping into a C-section. Obviously, if it's an emergency and for the safety of my son, I will get a C-section -- but if I don't need one, I'd rather not."

Kardashian, 35, said she is trying natural methods to get her baby to turn into a head-down position. "I lay practically upside down three times a day for 15 minutes," she said. "I play music in the right position and ice my belly in certain spots to get him to squirm out of the breech position. I even started accupuncture where I burn moxa (mugwort) on my pinky toe every day! I am even attempting hypnosis!"

The reality TV star and rapper West, 38, already are the parents of a 2-year-old daughter, North.
