Kris Allen: I survived car crash; I'm going to be a dad
Musician's new year off to a lucky startSinger Kris Allen, who won "American Idol" in 2009, says he is recovering from a serious car crash and that his wife of four years is pregnant, Newsday's Frank Lovece reports. "Thank you Ford for equipping me with a car that kept my whole family, Katy Allen, [dog] Zorro and the little one we have on the way safe," Allen, 27, posted New Year's Day. "Yes I got in a really bad wreck tonight and yes I'm having a lil baby."
