Kristen Stewart celebrates birthday without Robert Pattinson
Kristen Stewart may have blown out birthday candles Wednesday when she turned 24, but it doesn't look like she got her wish. The birthday girl was in New Orleans shooting her next movie, "American Ultra," where she celebrated her big night at a local bar -- hundreds of miles away from Robert Pattinson.
K-Stew was spotted at Chuck's, a dive-y sports bar in the central business district of New Orleans flush with pool tables and friendly locals. The actress was also seen leaving Annunciation Restaurant that night with her co-star Jesse Eisenberg, and a group of other friends. Meanwhile, Rob has been back in Los Angeles after finishing filming on his latest movie, "Life," with Dane DeHaan.
'Simpsons' big deal
"The Simpsons" is getting a new home -- kind of. TV's longest-running animated series will launch on FXX network with a 12-day marathon of all 552 episodes from Aug. 21 through Labor Day.
The sale of the series to FXX was valued at more than $750 million, according to Variety. In addition to running on FXX, the episodes will also be shown on the FXNow app. In 2009, "The Simpsons" surpassed "Gunsmoke" as America's longest-running prime-time scripted series.
