Lady Gaga called 'slut' by Staten Island politician James Molinaro

A New York City politician says Lady Gaga is a "slut."

Staten Island Borough President James Molinaro made the remark Monday. At the time, he was pointing to photos of the pop superstar lighting what appears to be a marijuana cigarettes at an Amsterdam concert last week.

The photos were displayed alongside a poster that said, "Stop glorifying drug use in the media."

According to the Staten Island Advance, Molinaro said, "This slut is influencing many, many children."

He said his niece's two daughters, ages 12 and 14, love Lady Gaga, and he wondered why.

Molinaro also launched into a general attack on actors and ballplayers who he said use drugs "as if it's nothing."

A representative of Lady Gaga didn't immediately respond to a request for comment Tuesday.
