Lady Gaga plays Mary Magdalene in 'Judas'
Lady Gaga's "Judas" will soon premiere with the singer in the role of Mary Magdalene -- the latest of her controversial and what some call "blasphemous" antics. Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, spoke to HollywoodLife.com about Gaga's focus on Judas and Mary Magdalene. "Lady Gaga tries to continue to shock Catholics and Christians in general," he said, adding, "I find Gaga to be increasingly irrelevant . . . She is trying to ripoff Christian idolatry to shore up her talentless, mundane and boring performances." Laurieann Gibson, Gaga's creative director and co-director of the video, says viewers should withhold judgment until they see "Judas."
No rose for Twitter
Brad Womack shut down his Twitter account. According to "Bachelor/Bachelorette" host Chris Harrison, Womack doesn't want his relationship with his future bride, Emily Maynard, to be a public story. "Sorry tweeps the publicity that came along w Twitter is exactly what Brad didn't want," Harrison tweeted. "@Brad_Womack has left the twitter-verse!"
