Larry Miller recovering from brain injury
Comedian Larry Miller, who was raised in Valley Stream, is recovering in Los Angeles after a head injury in April that put him in a coma and on life support for a month. "He was hovering between life and death," his spokesman, Michael Hansen, told People Tuesday. "It's a miracle he woke up. He's lucky to be alive." Miller, 59, hit his head on a sidewalk after finishing a podcast with comedian Adam Carolla. He is expected to make a full recovery, People said. "I'm very thankful to have recovered from a traumatic brain injury so quickly," Miller told the magazine.
