Lea Michele roots for 'Glee' co-star

Those McKinley High kids really have each other's backs!

With the news that "Glee" star Kevin McHale is a front-runner to co-host "The X Factor" this season, we couldn't resist asking his most famous co-star for her two cents.

"If that happens, that would be amazing," Lea Michele told HollywoodLife .com exclusively over the weekend.

"Anytime I'm recording a song for "Glee," I always go to Kevin for his advice," Lea gushed. "He knows so much about music that I know he would be amazing, and a great piece for that show . . . He is smart, funny and great with music. It would be a really wise choice."
