"Glee" star Lea Michele has spoken publicly for the first time about the death of her castmate and boyfriend, Cory Monteith, who died of a drug overdose in July at age 31.
"I feel like, for me personally, I've lost two people: Cory and Finn," the high-school quarterback and glee-club member he played, Michele told the Australian magazine TV Week.
"I really woke up every single day feeling like I was... in some sort of spell or something, that I was lucky enough to have him in my life," the actress, 27, reflected. Without using the word "death," she held her fingers up slightly apart, the magazine reported, and said: "I feel like what happened with Cory was [only] this big in the scheme of who he was and his life. There was no greater man than Cory, so for the time we spent together I consider myself very lucky."
The Monteith tribute episode, "The Quarterback," airs Thursday night on Fox.
