Lindsay Lohan, Dina hug after dispute outside LI home

Actress Lindsay Lohan got into what Nassau County police characterized as "a verbal dispute" with her mother, Dina, Wednesday morning outside the Lohan family home in North Merrick.
Police confirmed officers responded to a 911 call, placed just after 8 a.m., about a domestic incident on Old Mill Road -- and said the incident involved Lindsay Lohan and her mom.
There was no criminality involved, police said, and no arrests were made. The website TMZ and RadarOnline reported the argument got physical and Dina Lohan scratched Lindsay Lohan's leg. Both sites also reported Lindsay's bracelet was broken in the scuffle.
TMZ reported the two argued after leaving a Manhattan club in a limousine headed for Dina Lohan's house. In an audio recording TMZ had of a phone conversation between Lindsay Lohan and her father, Michael Lohan, while she was in the limousine, the actress says her mother grew angry after she demanded the return of $40,000 she had given her mother to save her home from foreclosure.
Michael Lohan released a statement saying he recorded the conversation after making the 911 call, saying, "I did call the police at Lindsay's request. Lindsay even asked that I record the conversation because she was being held against her will by the limo driver at Dina's instruction."
Hours later, mother and daughter hugged at the front door at about 1:15 p.m. Then Dina went back inside, and Lindsay Lohan got into a sport utility vehicle and left.
Steve Honig, a spokesman for Lindsay Lohan, told Newsday there would be no comment on the situation.

Late last month, Lindsay Lohan, 26, the former "Mean Girls" star whose run-ins with the law have been well-chronicled, and a California man filed harassment complaints against each other with the NYPD. The complaints stemmed from an early morning altercation in a posh Manhattan hotel.
In addition to "Mean Girls," Lohan starred in movies such as "Freaky Friday," "The Parent Trap" and "Liz & Dick," premiering next month on the Lifetime channel, in which she plays the role of Elizabeth Taylor.
