Lindsay Lohan was given a 15-hour leave from rehab to spend it with her father, Michael, gossip website TMZ.com reports.

The Long Island native got the approval to leave the Betty Ford Clinic but is expected to remain in court-mandated rehabilitation until Jan. 3, because of a failed drug test during probation, according to reports.

Several friends are expected to join the 24-year-old actress and her father, with whom she recently reunited, TMZ reports. The gossip website also claimed that Michael Lohan lent his daughter his Mercedes-Benz sedan so that the actress could make the two-hour drive to Los Angeles. Her driving privileges were allegedly restored earlier this week by the Los Angeles county probation system.

Lohan may elect to stay in rehabilitation longer than her court-mandated time, but is not required to wear an acohol-monitoring bracelet, according to repots. The actress will, however, be subject to random drug tests.

According to copies of her probation report, TMZ had earlier reported that the actress was worried her clothing line, 6126, would fall apart "because she is not available to monitor the product" during rehab. Sources told the gossip website, however, that she has been sketching and sending designs from Betty Ford.
