Mariah Carey reveals twin babies' names

True to her tweets, Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon have named their 5-day-old twins with "M" names: Moroccan Scott Cannon for the boy and Monroe Cannon for the girl -- sans middle name, a Carey representative told CNN Wednesday, because Carey herself does not have one.

Moroccan, nicknamed Roc, is named for the Moroccan-décor Moroccan Room in his parents' Manhattan apartment, where Cannon proposed to Carey.

Scott is Nick Cannon's middle name and his grandmother's maiden name.

Monroe comes from one of Carey's inspirations, the iconic actress Marilyn Monroe, said CNN.

The children were born via C-section in Los Angeles on Saturday, Carey and Cannon's third anniversary.
