Michael Lohan's 4 kids no-shows at his birthday party

Parenthood isn't easy, and Michael Lohan made the best of things without his four children at his 50th birthday party at Honu in Huntington. He feted his big 5-0 with his mother, Marilyn, his sister Kerry, his fiancee Kate Major and potential investors in his proposed reality show, "Crossing Borders," among others.

"It's hard," he said, being there Friday night without his actress daughter Lindsay, 23, and her sister Ali, 16, who flew in together from California on Thursday. His eldest child, Michael Jr., was away at college, and 13-year-old Cody was at home with ex-wife Dina Lohan.
