Former Major League Baseball star Jose Canseco, who admitted using performance-enhancing steroids during his career, reportedly is set to meet reality TV personality Michael Lohan in the ring.

TMZ.com said Wednesday that Damon Feldman, CEO of Celebrity Boxing, is pitting the two against each other in a “Battle of the Hollywood Bad Boys” boxing match in Los Angeles in September. Reality TV star Dean McDermott will referee, the site said. No venue or specific date was announced. Canseco, 51, has not commented on social media. Lohan, 56, linked to the TMZ article from his Facebook page.

Canseco has a 5-1 record in celebrity boxing, having defeated former child star Danny Bonaduce and former “The Real Housewives of D.C.” cast-member Tareq Salahi, among others. Lohan, the father of actress Lindsay Lohan, is 3-0, TMZ said, although he appears to have had at least four matches.

Lohan and Canseco had both appeared at Feldman’s “Celebrity Boxing 13: David vs. Goliath” on Nov. 6, 2009, in separate bouts. Canseco defeated local contender Todd Poulton at the Springfield, Massachusetts, event, while Lohan overcame a city councilman.

Lohan’s first match, in April 2009, against Philadelphia radio personality Rocco at the Philadelphia Airport Ramada Inn in suburban Essington, ended in a no-contest double disqualification. Lohan later fought “Survivor” contestant Johnny Fairplay and local boxer Bobby Dolan at the same venue.

Columbus, Ohio, personality Jeremy Loper attacked Lohan at “Celebrity Boxing 27” in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in June 2011 after learning Lohan was unable to participate in their scheduled bout.
