Michael McKean joins cast of 'Breaking Bad' spinoff
Actor Michael McKean ("This Is Spinal Tap," Broadway's "Superior Donuts") will join Bob Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks in the "Breaking Bad" spinoff "Better Call Saul," reports Deadline.com.
McKean, 66, who was raised in Sea Cliff, will play attorney Dr. Thurber, a new character who suffers some unusual affliction. "Breaking Bad" veterans Odenkirk and Banks reprise their roles as, respectively, shady lawyer Saul Goodman and his fixer, Mike Ehrmantraut, in AMC's prequel series, scheduled to premiere in November.
