Retired Olympics swimming champ Michael Phelps, 27, has broken up with Los Angeles-based model Megan Rossee, 25, TMZ.com said Tuesday. The two had been dating since March, Us Weekly added. Rossee has done primarily runway modeling, according to her website. She wrote cryptically on her Twitter page on Dec. 28, "And just like dust we settle in this town On this broken merry go round," from the Kacey Musgraves song "Merry Go 'Round." Phelps' equally cryptic most recent tweet, three days later reads, "Things happen for a reason . . . #notme."
