Mickey Rooney's burial topic of court hearing
A court hearing is set for Friday to determine funeral and burial decision-making power for the late actor Mickey Rooney, who died Sunday at age 93. People magazine reports that trustee Michael Augustine filed papers Tuesday to prevent Rooney's estranged wife Jan, from whom the actor was separated in 2012, from having input into the arrangements. Court documents show the Oscar-winner, who had eight children, left an estate of just $18,000, which he bequeathed to a stepson, Mark. Rooney's remains are currently at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles.
