Mike Epps to play Richard Pryor in Lee Daniels biopic

Mike Epps (the "Hangover" movies) will play Richard Pryor and Oprah Winfrey his grandmother and primary guardian, Marie Carter, in filmmaker Lee Daniels' biography of the comedy legend, who died in 2005. "Get ready y'all -- Mike Epps as Richard Pryor," Daniels, 54, tweeted, with a photo of himself, Epps, 43, and Winfrey, 60. Actress and media mogul Winfrey posted the same photo on her Instagram account, writing: "Lee Daniels, Mike Epps and me just finished a great 1st read session [for the] Richard Pryor movie."
