No achy breaky heart here. Miley Cyrus is engaged, People magazine reports.

The teen singer/actress, daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, is set to marry her boyfriend, Australian actor Liam Hemsworth ("The Hunger Games"). A wedding date has not been set.

Hemsworth, 22, proposed to his girlfriend of three years on May 31, People reports. Cyrus, 19, and Hemsworth met when they co-starred in "The Last Song" in 2009. (The couple broke up for several months in late 2010 and early 2011, before reuniting in April 2011.)

"I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam," Cyrus told People. The actress later tweeted that "I feel like all my dreams are coming true."

Billy Ray Cyrus also took to Twitter Wednesday to express his approval: "All I ever hoped for as a Daddy was to see my kids reach their dreams," he wrote. "To find happiness . . . peace of mind . . . and someday know . . . true love."

Hemsworth proposed with a 3.5-carat diamond ring from jeweler Neil Lane. People reports. The ring is handcrafted in 18-karat gold with intricately carved diamond floral motifs in an art nouveau pattern. And the center stone is extra special: It's an antique dating back to the late 19th century.

"It was hand-cut around 1880 or 1890, and it's unique and in its original form," Lane told People. "At that time no two diamonds were alike, as they were all hand-cut, so it's fascinating to look at because it hasn't been re-cut to look contemporary over the years. I find that really romantic."

Hemsworth was happy with the result, Lane said, telling People that the two "worked back and forth and it's everything he was looking for."
