It's teen vampires versus teen wizards, as the 2011 MTV Movie Award nominees pit "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" vs. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1" for best movie, best female performance, best male performance, best fight and, not surprisingly, best kiss.

The final "Twilight" flick led the pack with eight nominations, followed by six each for "Potter" and "Inception" and five for "The Social Network."

The original "Twilight" (2009) and "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" (2010) each won best movie, and "Eclipse" star Kristen Stewart is up twice in the kiss category, once each with Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

However, both "Eclipse" and "Potter," were shut out of a new category this year, best line from a movie, which gave nods to dialog in the Adam Sandler comedy "Grown Ups," the high-school "Scarlet Letter" tale "Easy A," the phantasmagoric "Inception" and, with two great lines, "The Social Network."

The show airs live June 5 from Universal City, Calif.
