NYC J.K. Rowling event suffers 'security breach'
Someone is going to Azkaban for this.
Seats for "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling's sole U.S. appearance this year were double-booked after a "security breach" put event tickets on sale 12 hours too early, said a spokeswoman for Jazz at Lincoln Center, where the Oct. 16 event is to take place.
"Some people purchased tickets from this premature site, unaware that it was not a legitimate sale site," spokeswoman Zooey Jones said. "We are working to accommodate each of these individuals to honor all tickets purchased."
Ticket sales began Sunday at 10 p.m., 12 hours before they were scheduled to be available.
