Paris Hilton says she prefers to be around positive people — and that doesn't include Lindsay Lohan.

“Back in the day we were friends,” the reality-TV star/socialite, 37, told Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM "Radio Andy" show Wednesday. “But [she’s] just one of those people that I just don’t really trust. And I only like to be around positive energy and good people.”

“She was too much drama for you,” Cohen said.

“Good vibes only,” Hilton replied.

In the interview, Hilton also expanded on a past statement about infamous old viral photos showing herself, Britney Spears and Lohan together in a car after a night of partying in 2006. Hilton said the pictures are misleading and that she and Lohan were no longer friends even then.

"Britney and I went out for the night" sans Lohan, recalled Hilton. Lohan, said Hilton "totally party-crashed. … We were all at the Beverly Hills Hotel, at the bungalows, and we were at an afterparty and then Britney and I wanted to leave to go home," Hilton told Cohen. "And then she [Lohan] started, like, chasing us … and then squeezed in[to] the car" amid a plethora of paparazzi.

"It was literally a two-seater [Mercedes McLaren] SLR," Hilton said, adding, "I didn't want to humiliate her in front of all the paparazzi and be, like, 'Get out of my car,' so I was, like, 'Whatever.' "

Hilton went on to say, "We went back to my house and then Britney and I just went to sleep. And then, I don't know, she, Lindsay, probably went to another party. … There was no Uber back then so she probably, like, called a cab. I have no idea."

"Mean Girls" star Lohan, 32, was in a troubled phase of her life at the time, and already had invoked Hilton's ire months before by kissing one of Hilton's ex-boyfriends, Stavros Niarchos.

A video of that night posted by the agency X17 shows paparazzi asking Hilton if she had hit Lohan, referring to an alleged incident the night before. Hilton, at the driver's-side door with Spears in the passenger seat, replies, "No. Ask her — she's right there,” and points toward the sidewalk. "Lindsay!” she calls out. Lohan off-camera responds, "Hey, babe."

"Tell them the truth!" Hilton hollers. Lohan, walking toward the car, accompanied by an unidentified handler, tells the paparazzi Hilton never hit her. "She's my friend, everyone lies about everything, she's a nice person. … I've known her since I was 15. Please. Don't make us hate each other." She then calmly gets in the car, with Spears now in the middle.

Neither Hilton nor Lohan have commented publicly about the interview.
