Paul Rudd named People's 'Sexiest Man Alive'

Perennially youthful 52-year-old Paul Rudd has been named this year's People magazine Sexiest Man Alive.
"I do have an awareness, enough to know that when people hear that I'd be picked for this, they would say, 'What?' " the actor, known for an engagingly likable screen presence, told People for its announcement Wednesday. "This is not false humility. There are so many people that should get this before me."
The star of films including "Clueless" (1995), "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" (2004), "Our Idiot Brother" (2011) and several Marvel Studios movies as the superhero Ant-Man joked he would, however, "lean into it hard. I'm going to own this. I'm not going to try to be like 'Oh, I'm so modest.' I'm getting business cards made. But all of my friends will destroy me and I expect them to. And that's why they're my friends."
Rudd's next roles are in the upcoming film "Ghostbusters: Afterlife" and the Apple+ TV series "The Shrink Next Door."
