England's Prince Harry won't be following in his older brother's marital footsteps anytime soon, the 26-year-old told a war veteran at London's Royal Hospital Chelsea Thursday.

"So when are you getting married then?" asked William Titchsmarsh, 85, one of the 300 pensioners living at the storied infirmary founded by King Charles II in 1682.

"Not for a long time," the prince answered, blushing. "Who put you up to do that to me?" he then asked, according to the British newspaper the Daily Mail.

"Oh, dear, they'll shoot me in the morning," the good-natured Titchsmarsh quipped.

"Yes, put him on a charge, Sergeant Major," another pensioner joked.

Prince Harry, who was touring the hospital on its Founder's Day, which includes the annual Chelsea Pensioner's parade, has dated Zimbabwe-born law student Chelsy Davy on and off for more than five years, the paper said. She accompanied him to Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding in April.
