Prince to go on 'Saturday Night Live' as musical guest
Prince will make a rare television appearance as the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" on Nov. 1, which will be hosted by comic Chris Rock, CNN reports. The appearance by Prince, 56, is a big get for the NBC sketch-comedy show, especially since the reclusive rock star has been touring infrequently. He performed on "SNL" in 1981 and then again in 2006. The show is also something of a homecoming for Rock, 49, who was an "SNL" cast member from 1990 to 1993. Rock hosted the show once before in 1996.
