Rachel Bilson, Hayden Christensen break up after 10 years, report says

Actors Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen reportedly have broken up after a decade together.
Us Weekly, citing an anonymous source, said the relationship had disintegrated roughly two months ago. The magazine reported that “Nashville” and former “O.C.” star Bilson and Christensen — best known for his starring role as Anakin Skywalker in “Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones” (2002) and “Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith” (2005) — were living apart, she in Los Angeles, he in Toronto.
Bilson’s spokesman did not return a Newsday request for comment. Christensen has no listed news representative or verified social-media account. Bilson has not commented on Instagram, and has no verified Twitter or Facebook page.
The two, both 36, had met in 2007 on the set of the science-fiction film “Jumper” (2008), in which they starred. They became engaged in December 2008, but Bilson’s representative said in August 2010 that the engagement had been called off. The couple eventually smoothed over their differences and had a daughter, Briar Rose, on Oct. 29, 2014.
Bilson — daughter of writer-director-producer Danny Bilson (TV’s “The Sentinel,” co-writer of the 1991 cult-hit “The Rocketeer”) and granddaughter of legendary TV director Bruce Bilson — and Christensen kept their relationship largely private. They prominently support the No Kids Policy campaign launched by “The Good Place” star Kristen Bell in 2014, in which celebrities decline to grant interviews to media outlets that use paparazzi images of children without parental consent.
Bilson in 2013 did tell Cosmopolitan magazine that Christensen — who spent summers with his grandmother Rose Schwartz near Valley Stream while growing up — “is open-minded when it comes to fashion. There will be an outfit I’m convinced will be too crazy for him and he’s like ‘That’s awesome!’ ”
She added, “I’m a really good girlfriend — I always put all that first in my life. I’m definitely the person who would make him his favorite dinner to come home to.”
