Reese Witherspoon, charged with disorderly conduct on Friday, did not appear Monday at the press junket for her new film "Mud," and canceled a scheduled appearance Tuesday "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon," The Hollywood Reporter said.

Actor Adam Ferrara ("Nurse Jackie," "Rescue Me") substituted for her in a revised lineup. The Washington Post added that Witherspoon canceled a Monday interview with "Good Morning America" that had been scheduled to run Wednesday. Witherspoon has apologized for her behavior during the course of her husband's arrest on a DUI charge during a traffic stop in Atlanta.
