Reese Witherspoon gives birth to son Tennessee James
Reese Witherspoon, a "Walk the Line" Oscar winner, gave birth Thursday to her and husband Jim Toth's first child, her third.
The couple "welcomed Tennessee James into their family today," the actress' representative told The Associated Press. "Both mom and baby are healthy and the entire family is thrilled."
Witherspoon wed Toth, a talent agent at CAA, the firm that represents her, in March 2011. The couple met in January 2010 and became engaged that December.
Witherspoon, 36, has two children with first husband, Ryan Phillippe -- Ava, 13, and Deacon, 8. The two actors married in 1999 and separated in 2006, with their divorce finalized the next year.
Witherspoon initially kept her pregnancy a secret, but showed off her baby bump all spring and summer -- from appearances at the Cannes Film Festival to lunches and errands at home in Los Angeles. "Frankly, I'm feeling very round," she told reporters in June.
Meanwhile, the real-estate site Zillow.com reported last week that Witherspoon is selling the Ojai, Calif., vacation home where "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson was widely reported to have retreated following his breakup with his film series co-star Kristen Stewart.
Witherspoon bought the estate, originally built as a stable for glassware magnate Edward Libbey, in 2008. It was previously owned by director Harold Ramis and, at some earlier point, model Kathy Ireland. Zillow said the asking price is $10 million.
