Report: Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner split

Rock singer Avril Lavigne has reportedly broken up with her reality-star beau, Brody Jenner.
Lavigne, 25, and Jenner, 26, ended their nearly two-year relationship last week, Us Weekly reported.
The magazine said career issues were at the heart of the decision, with Jenner feeling held back by a relationship that often required him to accompany the singer on tour overseas.
A representative for Lavigne had no comment. Just hours after stories began surfacing that the two had called it quits, however, Jenner tweeted a message to Lavigne.
"It really upsets me to read all the FALSE!! stories," Jenner posted Tuesday. "Avril has always been there for me and is the closest person to my heart. I love her."
The "Skater Boy" singer was quick to respond with a simple "luv u 2!!!" tweet, but neither has explicitly confirmed the status of their relationship.
