'Saved by the Bell' tell-all telepic to air on Lifetime

What went on behind the scenes of "Saved by the Bell"? Lifetime is set to air a tell-all telepic about the series that launched the careers of Mario Lopez, Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Elizabeth Berkley, BuzzFeed reports.

The movie, titled "The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story," is set to premiere Sept. 1 at 9 p.m. and will feature a cast of young newcomers.

Dustin Diamond, who played Screech, wrote a 2009 book about his experiences on the show, including tales of drugs and sex between castmates. The new film is not based on his book.

Cleaning up 'Woods'

Stephen Sondheim, who produced "Into the Woods" on stage, said that Disney's upcoming movie version starring Anna Kendrick, Johnny Depp and Meryl Streep will be more kid-friendly.

"You will find in the movie that Rapunzel does not get killed, and the prince does not sleep with the baker's wife," Sondheim told a group of high school theater advisers. He also told The Washington Post that there will be no hint of innuendo between Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf. The movie is due Dec. 25.
