Charlie Sheen reacted defiantly Wednesday to the removal of his twin toddlers from his home, following the imposition of a restraining order by his estranged wife.

"She is an absolute traitor and she must be banished," the "Two and a Half Men" star told RadarOnline.com of third wife Brooke Mueller, whom he married in 2008 and from whom he became separated after a Christmas 2009 altercation. "She will be living under a bridge, toothless and confused," Sheen, 45, went on.

Police removed the couple's 23-month-old sons, Max and Bob, about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday from Sheen's Mulholland Drive mansion after Mueller obtained an order of protection requiring him to stay 100 yards away from her and the boys.

In a sworn deposition, Mueller, 33, wrote that Sheen had told her by phone Sunday night, "I will cut your head off, put it in a box and send it to your mom!"

She also described threats, spitting and punching from Sheen during a recent trip to the Bahamas in which Sheen had his two live-in girlfriends - Natalie Kenly and adult star Bree Olson - accompany the family.

Sheen, making his third consecutive appearance on NBC's "Today" show Wednesday morning, described Mueller's claims as "colorful."

He also claimed, "At this moment on live television, I do not know where my children are."

Sheen's daughters Sam, 7, and Lola, 6, remain with their mother, Sheen's ex-wife Denise Richards, who has full custody.
