Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver reportedly spent Christmas together with their children, as a tabloid website speculated that Shriver is reconsidering the divorce for which she filed on July 1.
According to TMZ.com Monday, former broadcast journalist Shriver, 56, is telling friends she is having second thoughts about the divorce, due to her strong religious beliefs as a Catholic. The site is also reporting that Schwarzenegger, 64, action-movie star and former California governor, has been trying to win her back through numerous gestures including presents.
People magazine said Monday that the two spent Christmas with their children at a Brentwood home, though the article did not specify whether this was the couple's longtime home or the $10 million Brentwood mansion nearby that Shriver was set to buy in July, according to TMZ.com. The couple have four children: Katherine, 22; Christina, 20; Patrick, 18; and Christopher, 14.
People also said Shriver and Schwarzenegger attended the Los Angeles Lakers' season opener at Los Angeles' Staples Center in the afternoon.
The two came together as parents over the summer when Christopher was hospitalized following a beach accident, according to USA Today, and TMZ said the family celebrated his 14th birthday together at Mastro's Steakhouse in Beverly Hills. The couple were photographed together at church in Santa Monica on Nov. 6.
As of Monday night neither Shriver nor Schwarzenegger had tweeted anything about spending time together.
