Simon Cowell brings home newborn son

Music producer and former "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell and his girlfriend, Lauren Silverman, have brought their newborn son, Eric, home from the hospital, E! News reports. Cowell and Silverman were photographed Sunday leaving Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan following the birth of their 6 lb. 7 oz. boy on Friday. The child is named for Cowell's late father, Eric Selig Phillip Cowell. "The last three days have been incredible," Cowell tweeted. "Eric, Lauren, Squiddly and Diddly all happy," he added, referring to the family's two Yorkshire terriers.
