Singer Kimberly Perry engaged to Blue Jays catcher

Singer Kimberly Perry engagedCountry singer Kimberly Perry, right, of the sibling trio The Band Perry became engaged Monday to Toronto Blue Jays catcher J.P. Arencibia, the Nashville newspaper The Tennessean reported yesterday. Arencibia, 27, proposed to Perry, 30, beneath an oak tree at her parents' home in Greeneville, Tenn. Perry told the paper that as a teen she had thought, "If I get proposed to in this life, I hope it happens underneath this tree." She and Arencibia met in February 2012 at the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City, Fla.
