Smart engaged to HGTV's Oosterhouse

Well, at least she'll have a handyman on the premises: Actress Amy Smart is engaged to HGTV's "eco-carpenter" Carter Oosterhouse, Us Weekly reports. The "Just Friends" star told the magazine the engagement is "very new" and "very exciting." Oosterhouse was a carpenter on TLC's "Trading Spaces" and hosted HGTV's "Carter Can" and "Red Hot & Green." Smart has also appeared in "The Butterfly Effect," "Varsity Blues" and "Road Trip." The two met at a charity event in November.
