Sofia Vergara, Joe Manganiello marry in celeb-studded Palm Beach, Florida, ceremony

"Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara and "True Blood" actor Joe Manganiello, who began dating last year and were betrothed in late December, culminated their whirlwind romance with a wedding Sunday evening that followed a weekend of festivities.

Vergara, 43, and Manganiello, 38, were married at the Palm Beach, Florida, resort The Breakers in a ceremony that began at 7 p.m., People magazine reported Sunday. Us Weekly added that the bride wore a custom gown by Beirut-born designer Zuhair Murad, who has created couture for the star's appearances at the Academy Awards and the Golden Globes. Manganiello, the magazine said, wore a John Varvatos tuxedo.

After the ceremony, Vergara posted an Instagram image of herself in the strapless white, embroidered, floor-length gown with deep decolletage and a full train.

E! News said Jeff Leatham provided the floral arrangements and Lorraine Schwartz designed the wedding bands the couple exchanged.

Wedding guests, said E!, included Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon, who recently co-starred with Vergara in the comedy film "Hot Pursuit"; "Modern Family" stars Ed O'Neill, Julie Bowen, Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson with his husband, Justin Mikita; and Manganiello's "Magic Mike XXL" co-star Channing Tatum as well as the groom's "True Blood" co-stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer. Also in attendance, said Us, was Vergara's 23-year-old son, Manolo.

In lieu of presents, guests were asked to make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, and Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, in the groom's hometown, E! said.

Manganiello and four-time Emmy Award-nominee Vergara had arrived in Palm Beach on Friday, reported The Palm Beach Post, and the couple and their friends have posted a stream of images of the wedding-centered festivities on Instagram since.
