Sofia Vergara splits with boyfriend Nick Loeb

"Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara has broken up with her boyfriend of two years, Florida businessman Nick Loeb.
The two had been fighting for some time and ended their relationship before this past weekend, Us Weekly said Wednesday. While Vergara, 39, attended the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday solo, the two were together at the White House Correspondents Association Dinner on April 28, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Vergara and Loeb met at a Golden Globe Awards party in early 2010. That fall, Loeb, 36, was involved in a car crash that left him hospitalized for at least two months, and Vergara helped nurse him back to health.
He is president of Onion Crunch, a company that makes a crispy onion topping, and a managing partner of Carbon Solutions America, a project developer specializing in renewable energy. The son of President Ronald Reagan's ambassador to Denmark, Loeb separated from his wife Anna in 2009 and later divorced.
Vergara, who married her high-school sweetheart Joe Gonzalez at age 18, has a son, Manolo, 19.
