Susan Boyle to make film debut next year

Susan Boyle, whose "Britain's Got Talent" performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" from "Les Misérables" in 2009 made her a global sensation, will make her feature film debut in John Stephenson's "The Christmas Candle," says The Hollywood Reporter. The film, set in 1890, concerns angels, candles and Christmas wishes and is based on the novella of the same name by Max Lucado. There was no word on what role Boyle will have.
