Taylor Swift, Tom Hiddleston split after three months, reports say

Have pop star Taylor Swift and British actor Tom Hiddleston broken up after three months of dating?
Us Weekly and People each said Tuesday that “Out of the Woods” singer Swift, 26, and Hiddleston, 35 — an executive producer of the AMC miniseries “The Night Manager,” for which he was Emmy-nominated as a lead actor — have ended their relationship due to what Us described as Swift’s reticence over the public nature of the romance. People called the breakup amicable.
The two had danced together at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual Costume Institute Gala on May 2, with an animated GIF of their steps going viral. In July, Hiddleston responded to rumors that the romance was a publicity stunt, telling The Hollywood Reporter, “The truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we’re very happy. Thanks for asking.” He added, “That’s the truth. It’s not a publicity stunt.”
People magazine noted that Swift and Hiddleston have not been photographed together publicly since a dinner date at the Hillstone restaurant in Santa Monica, California, on July 27.
Hiddleston subsequently flew to Australia to reprise his popular Marvel Cinematic Universe role as Norse trickster god Loki in “Thor: Ragnarok.” The third film in Marvel Studios’ Thor franchise began production on July 4 and is expected to shoot through late October. He and Swift reunited in mid-August and spent a weekend at her home in Rhode Island, People said.
Swift and Scottish DJ Calvin Harris broke up in May after reportedly being together since March 2015.
