Tom Cruise, Armie Hammer to start in 'U.N.C.L.E.' remake
Cruise, Hammer to star in 'U.N.C.L.E.'
Upcoming "The Lone Ranger" star Armie Hammer has joined the previously cast Tom Cruise in the movie adaptation of the lighthearted 1960s superspy TV show "The Man From U.N.C.L.E.," Deadline.com reports. Guy Ritchie (2009's "Sherlock Holmes" and its sequel) will direct for Warner Bros., the site said. Without confirming whether the two stars would play the exact characters from the 1964-68 NBC show, Deadline said Hammer would play a version of David McCallum's Illya Kuryakin and Cruise, cast last month, a version of Robert Vaughan's Napoleon Solo.
