Tyler Perry, girlfriend Gelila Bekele welcome son

Writer-director-actorTyler Perry, 45, and his longtime girlfriend, Gelila Bekele, 28, are new parents, E! News reports. Bekele, a model and activist, gave birth to their first child, a son named Aman, on Sunday. "We're very excited about it, very excited," Perry told E! earlier this fall when asked about his girlfriend's pregnancy at the New York premiere of "Gone Girl." When asked what kind of father he hopes to be, Perry told the TV show "Extra," "The greatest gift I'm being given right now is the opportunity to give the little boy in me everything I never had, so that's what I'm excited about."
