Victoria's Secret disses model Kate Upton

Model Kate Upton may be good enough to grace the cover of this year's Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue and to appear in the Victoria's Secret lingerie catalog, but she might never be on the catwalk for the Victoria's Secret fashion show.

"We would never use her" because her look is "too obvious," said Sophia Neophitou, who casts the high-profile annual event. Neophitou complained in a recent news report that Upton has "too-blond hair and that kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy."

That may not matter to New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, who since December has been speculated to be romantically involved with Upton. The model herself became coy Wednesday when asked whether the two were seeing each other.

"What do you think?" she said with a laugh when a TMZ.com videographer asked if she were single. When the videographer persisted and asked about Sanchez, she answered, smiling, "I don't know. Whatever you think!" before leaving the impromptu interview.
