Woodley enters world of fashion
Shailene Woodley, star of ABC Family's "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," attended her "first fashion show ever" Thursday in a sleeveless Honor button-down cowboy print top at the label's fall presentation.
"Honor is made for a strong woman," said Woodley of designer Giovanna Randall. "I love that she infuses masculinity into her clothing. She takes a simple design and adds a twist that's unique."
Although she looked casual, Woodley said her Honor outfit was dressy compared to her everyday "baggy jeans and a white Hanes T-shirt." In fact, she's fond of thrift shops. "You can find really great stuff at thrift stores for, like, two bucks, and it's eco-friendly."
Modeling in red
"Millionaire Matchmaker" Patti Stanger slimmed down to a size 2 to fit into the sleek Marc Bouwer gown she modeled at the Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection Wednesday night.
"It's very sexy and over-the-top," she said of the number. "I wear red a lot, but this dress is very different. I'm probably going to wear it again."
As for single ladies this Valentine's Day, Stanger advises getting out of the house and mingling in an eye-catching outfit. "Any bright colors will do," she said, though "red is a very popular color and men will notice you."
