'X-men' star McKellen denies cancer report
"Lord of the Rings" and "X-Men" star Ian McKellen has not developed prostate cancer despite a tabloid report, the actor's agent said Tuesday. Disputing an account in the British newspaper The Sun, Chris Andrews told ABC News that McKellen, 73, "does not have prostate cancer . . . That was taken out of context and from an interview from years ago." The Sun's story, quoted McKellen as saying that he has been fighting prostate cancer for "six or seven years."
