Daughtry set for Nassau Coliseum
Move over, Carrie Underwood. There's another "American Idol" alum who can headline an arena tour. Daughtry, led by "Idol" finalist Chris Daughtry, announced the second leg of its American arena tour, which includes a stop at Nassau Coliseum on Mar. 26, Newsday's Glenn Gamboa reports. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday through Ticketmaster. Lifehouse and Cavo will open the show. "Growing up, you dream about singing one of your songs in front of a packed house," Daughtry said in a statement. "I still get chills when we're playing and I hear the crowd singing louder than we are." The band's sophomore album, "Leave This Town," became its second No. 1 last summer.
